She was preceded in death by her mother, Alta Faye Upton Lindler her father, Nelson Dowdy and stepmother, Letha Mae Dowdy husband, James R. She enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and loved her family, all her friends and her church family and her cats. She specialized in interior painting and wallpaper hanging and was also a waitress at Joda’s Cafe. She was a member of Old Union Missionary Baptist Church. Neta Dell Dowdy Pickett, age 89, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, died Thursday, Octoat The Springs of Minecreek in Nashville, Arkansas.
